He’s known as “CLICK tha Supah Latin” but chose to edit “tha Supah Latin” out of his name since becoming a Christian in 2000. “The Supah Latin glorified my name, and being, instead of Christs so I removed it” he says. Since 1984 he’s been known mostly for beatboxing. He’s also done RADIO (Power 106 L.A, Q104.7 Oxnard), FILM (“8mile”, She’s all That”, “Malibu’s most Wanted”), has had his music licensed for T.V, and has performed with some of the most successful and highly respected artists in Hip Hop today. (Jurassic 5, Rahzel, KRS-One, Doug E. Fresh, Rakim, Ice Cube, The Roots, etc.)

He’s released 2 albums under Wild West Recordings. “This Iz How I Know” and “Square Won”. Both of these were secular albums but since coming to Christ he’s completed his 1st Holy Hip Hop album, “CONTACT”, which still embodies the true sound of Hip Hop while bringing the Word. He’s also part of an incredible crew called “G-Boy Union” (TripLL-H, L-Brown, Technic).

“At the end of 2000 I found myself at the end of me. The business had taken me so far from God that when I looked up, I was in a pit I couldn’t get out of. Fortunately Jesus heard my screams, forgave my sins, loved me anyway, and promised to be faithful to me…..sometimes even when I’m not faithful to Him.”

His goal is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, and his testimonies of Him, to the world but especially to the youth. “The type of Hip Hop that is being hailed today is killing the spirit of our young and our old.” He considers to have been, in a sense, to hell and back and wants to serve as a witness, through experience, that satan is real and is out to destroy Gods people, saved and unsaved.

“The coming together of this album has been a beautiful experience for me. I prayed before each song and asked the Lord to let every word be His words only. It’s amazing how He placed every word in each song. Till this day I’m amazed…Thank you Lord!”

The concept and importance of “family” is another thing Christ has put heavily on his heart. Since the beginning, his wife, has carried out the role of manager and before he knew it, God had a purpose for his 2 sons & his daughter. “Their stage presence blows me away, even today.”

Though he’s a solo artist, his family has always been a part of who he is. They’ve been both a joy and inspiration for his music and they are the first ministry to which he is called. “My wife and I have been together for 20 years and with God first, we will be together when HE returns.”
